2022 Year in Review
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was started late January 2020 as a way to honor the memory of Parker Wade Burch (PWB). At that time, we partnered with 8 very special organizations that allow us to spread Joy and Hope within our community as we keep Parker’s light shining bright. This past year we added King’s Ridge Christian High School, South Forsyth High School Softball Teams, South Forsyth High School Boys and Girls Lacrosse Teams, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Dawson County High School Fishing Team, Atlanta Allstars (ATA) Competition Cheerleading Teams, and Polo Golf and Country Club HOA as community partners who helped assist the foundation in several community initiatives.
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation partnered with the Aflac Pediatric Cancer Center Clothing Closet at CHOA Scottish Rite. PWB was committed to restocking their closet with a wide range of boy and girl pants and underwear in sizes that range from toddler to teenage sized items. We were able to donate 
pairs of pants and 
pairs of underwear!!! 
Shannon was honored and grateful to be chosen as the Upsider Spotlight in the weekly Pick Me Up with Callie and Jeff for their podcast newsletter.
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation teamed up with The Place of Forsyth to deliver a delicious Easter dinner to 
patrons. 
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation teamed up with T3packaging to donate backpacks to help aid school age children for the 2022-2023 school year. 
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was nominated as a contender in the Best of Forsyth 2023 Non-Profit Organization category.
South Forsyth High School Softball Teams held a food drive for PWB Joy of Hope Foundation in support of Meals by Grace Food Pantry. 
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation partnered with Kings Ridge Christian High School to assist with packing thanksgiving food boxes for The Place of Forsyth. Patrick was able to speak to the high school students during chapel about our mission and vision for the Foundation as well as encourage them to live a life of paying it forward and giving back to others. 
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was nominated as a nominee in the Best of Georgia 2022 in the category of Community and Business Organizations: Foundations for the Georgia Business Journal! We WON 
and were awarded with the title as one of the Best in Georgia Foundations!
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was honored and humbled to partner with Polo Golf and Country Club 1st Annual Witches Ride. The monetary donations that were collected on our behalf went directly towards impacting the girls at Jesse’s House. The house was gifted a memorable Escape Room experience and dinner afterwards. 
With the outpouring love and support from our community, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation was able to donate 
Thanksgiving boxes and turkeys to The Place of Forsyth. This generous donation made it possible for families to enjoy a less stressful holiday without trying to figure out how to put a meal on the table. A special shoutout to South Forsyth High School Lacrosse teams for your continued support. 
PWB Joy of Hope Foundation partnered with the Atlanta Allstars (ATA) Competition Cheerleading Teams for a Thanksgiving food drive for Meals by Grace Food Pantry. , food items were collected and donated!!! So thankful and blessed to know that the youth are being instilled with values of paying it forward within our community. 
A handful of local athletes showed their support for PWB on the field by wearing a PWB logo either on their helmet, cleats, or bat. PWB was also a sponsor of a local fishing team who adorned our logo on their competition shirts. PWB logo also made it onto the helmet of an Arkansas Razorback football helmet! 
PWB Joy of Hope created a Christmas Angel Gift Card Tree in honor of the girls at Jesse’s House. With the generous outpouring of love and support, we were able to gift all 10 residents a gift card tree valued at $ plus a handmade bracelet for all residents, a soft cuddly blanket, a bath and body works gift set, tons of toiletry/makeup/stationary items, and a $ donation that will go towards the Escape Room experience and dinner. A special shoutout to South Forsyth High School Lacrosse teams for your continued support.
2022 was a year of love, a year of grace, a year of fulfillment, a year of joy, and a year of hope. Over the past 3 years, we are so very honored and blessed to announce that PWB Joy of Hope Foundation has raised over $,!!! The impact that we can make upon our community is mind boggling; and that is THANKS to YOU and your generous donations. Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting our foundation. We look forward to sharing our goals for 2023 and continuing to keep Parker’s light shining bright!
