Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Center at CHOA

PWB Joy of Hope partnered with The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at CHOA during the month of February. They are a national leader in pediatric cancer and blood disorders treatment and research.

Aflac Pediatric Cancer Center Clothing Closet at CHOA Scottish Rite was completely EMPTY when it came to pants and underwear. They were in desperate need of it being restocked ASAP.

The nurses at the Cancer Center use this clothing closet when one of the pediatric patients has an accident and spills something on them while they are in the middle of their chemo infusions, or if any type of bodily fluid has spilled on their clothing, or if any type of chemical accidently gets onto their clothing while they are at the cancer center receiving treatments.

PWB was committed to restocking their closet with a wide range of boy and girl pants and underwear in sizes that range from toddler to teenage sized items. PWB Joy of Hope were able to donate 3️⃣1️⃣0️⃣ pairs of pants and 3️⃣5️⃣7️⃣ pairs of underwear!!!

We have even made a yearly partnership commitment to CHOA Aflac Cancer Center that we will continue to keep their clothing closet stocked for all the very special patients who receive treatment there!

There is no better feeling that being able to believe in the Joy of Hope! 💙
