PWB Joy of Hope Foundation is honored to be partnering with Meals by Grace. This amazing organization is a true asset to Forsyth and Dawson County. Keep on the lookout for an upcoming PWB Service Day to be announced!
Meals by Grace works to ensure children go to bed happy, not hungry by working in a reciprocal partnership between the community and families to learn and to grow, with the goal of moving toward self-sufficiency.
Meals by Grace meets from 1pm-3pm every Sunday and the 2nd Saturday of the month to prepare a hot meal, assemble other food items, then go deliver the food to the children in their program.
Meals by Grace is creating a meaningful relationship with the hungry children and their families with meals to end their food insecurity, utilizing the community as a holistic resource to nurture under-resourced families to self-sufficiency.
Meals by Grace brings food, hope, and transformation to children and families in need with resources from our community and aquaponic farm. Please check out their website https://mealsbygrace.org/Default.aspx so that you can sign up to volunteer your time preparing meals for those less fortunate.
Meals by Grace also has a client choice food pantry that feeds about 900 people a week, two mobile pantries, and through delivery to the homes of children determined to be food insecure by school social workers.
To donate to the client choice food pantry, take advantage of their Amazon Wish List located here: http://bit.ly/MBG_list, or add a few items to your family’s buggy and drop off 10 to 4 Tue through Fri at 432A Canton Rd., Cumming (left end of Ingles).
