Thus far during Covid-19, PWB Joy of Hope Foundation has donated at least 35 family dinners to Meals by Grace. In addition, other various food pantry staples have also been purchased and delivered in person and through their Amazon Wish List program. During this very critical time of need when members of our community are depending on the client choice pantry, we are happy to spread some love in hopes that the fear and insecurity they may be feeling is eliminated for at least one family meal.
Meals by Grace works to end food insecurity by helping families move towards self sufficiency. Many children in our community go to bed hungry, resulting in mental and physical development struggles. To help end cycles of fear and discomfort, the Meals by Grace food pantry feeds up to 900 people a week, delivering meals to hungry children in need. This non-profit organization has provided over 100,000 meals to date, and relies on the generosity and service of volunteers.
