Thanksgiving Blessing Boxes for The Place of Forsyth

Thankful. Grateful. Blessed.

These powerful words completely encompass how PWB Joy of Hope Foundation feels in regards to the response we received for the Thanksgiving Boxes for The Place of Forsyth!

We had an initial goal of fulfilling 75 boxes and we D.O.U.B.L.E.D. that goal and ended up being able to feed 1️⃣6️⃣5️⃣ families this Thanksgiving!!!

There were no shortages on kindness this year! Our hearts are overflowing and we can’t THANK YOU enough for believing in the Joy of Hope because we couldn’t have accomplished this alone.

A special shout out to several community partners who helped with this huge endeavor:

Forsyth County Schools Project Life Students ~ Thank you for partnering with us as you completed a service project that included shopping, sorting, and boxing a large portion of the boxes for us.

Polo Golf and Country Club Neighbors ~ Thank you for supporting our family and showing that when our community comes together we all benefit.

McGinnis Woods Day School students ~ Thank you for hosting a canned food drive based on the provided food list. Your contributions made it possible for several Thanksgiving boxes to be fulfilled as well as 4 huge boxes of canned food donations that were donated to The Place food pantry.

Mrs. Wendy McCarron’s Math Students at Creekview High School ~ Thank you for taking the time to listen to our backstory on why the Foundation was started and choosing to come together to fill Thanksgiving boxes in honor of Parker.

South Forsyth High School Girls and Boys Lacrosse Team ~ Thank you for supporting our Foundation as you completed a team service project for the community. Being able to pay it forward is truly a life long lesson.

PWB’s Village ~ Thank you for your continued love and support for our family and our community. We are truly blessed to call each of you family! ❤
