We have been left speechless again! Definitely not in a bad way but the complete opposite…with the help of many across the county we were able to deliver 
Thanksgiving Food Boxes to The Place on Tuesday. Think about how huge this is…every single family who struggles with food insecurity in Forsyth and Dawson County who rely on The Place food pantry can take the worry and stress of a Thanksgiving dinner off their plate. They will be given a turkey, a food box that contains multiple sides and even a dessert, plus each family will also be given a $25 gift card to go buy any perishable items to complete their meal!
We have been participating in Thanksgiving food boxes for The Place for the last 5 years. In 2020, we delivered 
, in 2021 we delivered 
, in 2022 we delivered plus 
, last year in 2023 we delivered , and now in 2024 we delivered !!!
In 2022, we decided to GO BIG and commit to fulfilling ALL Thanksgiving Boxes moving forward for The Place of Forsyth! We made good on our word in 2023 and 2024! I have no doubt whatsoever that in 2025 we will continue to make good on our word and promises.
To those that have helped make this possible year after year, we bet your turkey dinner 
has tasted so much better knowing that you have helped provide another family with their Thanksgiving dinner! When we work together, we can do amazing things to help others.
